1) Is BROCSPROUT 2 an all natural product?

BROCSPROUT 2 capsules contain 100% Dried Whole Broccoli Sprouts (Brassica oleracea var. italica sprout powder), optimized for its yield of compounds to reinforce and support human cells.* Nothing is added and nothing is removed. Absolutely 100% Natural.

2) Why should I NOT OVERLOAD on antioxidants like vitamin A, C, E and beta-carotene, while taking BROC SPROUT 2?

The keyword here is 'overload.' The antioxidants produced naturally within our cells, sourced from our daily diet or supplemented in moderation, are vastly more powerful than administered vitamin C and other vitamin-based antioxidants taken to excess. When large doses of Vitamin C and various other antioxidants are taken via the form of supplements, human cells can become over-saturated.

The sensors within the human cell are now unable to recognize the pro-oxidant stressor signals, that are the ‘switch’ for the cell to activate its immunological response system, because the cell is over-saturated with an excess of vitamin supplements.

3) How is sulforaphane made?

Sulforaphane is made by the combination of the Glucoraphanin compound and the Myrosinase enzyme in the presence of moisture. Both Glucoraphanin and Myrosinase are only found in Fresh Young Whole Broccoli Sprouts.

A product must contain both the Glucoraphanin compound and Myrosinase enzyme. When both these components are mixed together in the presence of moisture (saliva or water) ONLY then is sulforaphane produced. When you swallow BROCSPROUT 2 capsules sulforaphane is rapidly produced within your body!

4) Is this the only way sulforaphane can be produced 'naturally'?

YES. There is no other natural way.

5) Many other products say they contain: sulforaphane extracts, broccoli seed extracts, broccoli sprout extracts, Glucoraphanin, Sulforaphane Glocosinolate SGS, etc. Can they produce sulforaphane?

No, they cannot produce sulforaphane.
A product must contain both the Glucoraphanin compound and the Myrosinase enzyme. When both these essential components are mixed together in the presence of moisture (saliva or water) ONLY then is sulforaphane produced.

“It’s important for consumers to understand, it doesn’t matter how much of the Glucoraphanin compound is present. If a product does not contain the naturally-occurring Myrosinase enzyme, NO Sulforaphane can be generated by that product.”

6) Can any product actually contain Sulforaphane?

No, a product cannot contain sulforaphane.
Sulforaphane is highly unstable once generated and will only last a matter of minutes, therefore it cannot be packaged, stored or transported. This is where BROCSPROUT 2 capsules are so potent and convenient. A shot of broccoli sprouts in every capsule.

7) Why do other products on the market make claims that are not true?

They may be trying to mislead you, but we would like to think that they don't even understand their own product?

There are products currently on the market that may be trying to mislead the public into believing that they can produce sulforaphane. There are no shortcuts to producing natural sulforaphane. Products must contain both the glucoraphanin compound and the myrosinase enzyme. When these two components are mixed together in the presence of moisture (saliva or water), only then is sulforaphane produced. Beware of labels containing 'fancy names and terms', they are simply trying to mislead and confuse you!

8) What are the 'alarm bell warning signs' we should be aware of in other product claims?

Beware of products saying they contain sulforaphane, sulforaphane glucosinolates, SGS, broccoli sprout extract, broccoli seed extract, standardized extracts, any extract for that matter, fermented broccoli sprouts and so on. They are misleading you into believing that they can produce sulforaphane. These products alone cannot produce sulforaphane because they do not contain the naturally occurring myrosinase enzyme!

9) What is 'Sulforaphane Glucosinalate (SGS)'?

Instead of being correctly labelled as containing 'Glucoraphanin', these products are labelled as containing 'Sulforaphane Glucosinolate or SGS'. It's another way to confuse the consumer. 'Sulforaphane Glucosinolate or SGS' is simply another name for 'Glucoraphanin'.

For example: a consumer may read a label which states, “30mg sulforaphane glucosinolate” or '30mg SGS' he or she is likely to assume that the product contains 30mg of sulforaphane - IT DOES NOT! ‘Sulforaphane Glucosinalate or SGS' is a marketing term, not a chemical term and clearly leads the consumer to think the product contains sulforaphane. This is false and misleading!

10) What are Extracts?

Most other broccoli sprout supplements are 'extracts', not whole sprout products like BROC SPROUT 2. For a product to be capable of producing sulforaphane when consumed, it must contain both the Glucoraphanin compound and the naturally occurring Myrosinase enzyme. To produce an extract, manufacturers have to destroy the essential myrosinase enzyme. As a result, an 'extract' contains only the glucoraphanin precursor compound and consequently is unable to produce sulforaphane. 'Extracts' by their very nature are inert, meaning they are not chemically active and cannot produce sulforaphane because the myrosinase enzyme has been destroyed in the process.

In other words, 'extracts' or products not including the naturally-occurring Myrosinase enzyme are absolutely worthless.

In theory, these 'extract' products claim to rely on your gut microflora for conversion to some level of sulforaphane. However, little is known about the exact species of microflora claimed to have any myrosinase-like activity. As a result, any sulforaphane produced will be negligible and unlikely to provide any significant support or benefit.

11) How long does sulforaphane last?

Once the Glucoraphanin compound and the Myrosinase enzyme are mixed together in the presence of moisture (saliva or water) the sulforaphane produced will last a maximum 25 minutes. Hence, ingestion must immediately take place. This is why BROCSPROUT 2 capsules are so potent and convenient.

12) One BROCSPROUT 2 capsule is equivalent to eating what daily quantity of fresh broccoli sprouts?

A difficult question, as fresh broccoli sprouts and seeds vary tremendously when it comes to their quality and potency. Therefore the fresh broccoli sprouts grown will also vary greatly in their ability to support your cells with Sulforaphane.

Fresh broccoli sprouts also carry the Epithiospecifier Protein (ESP), which significantly restricts the broccoli sprout plant’s ability to produce Sulforaphane. This will also differ greatly between various broccoli sprout vegetables.

At BROCSPROUT 2, part of our expertise in what we do is to source the best broccoli seeds globally, grow them in a controlled environment and then maximize and preserve their Myrosinase and Glucoraphanin levels, whilst at the same time deactivating the ESP protein!

Therefore depending upon the quality of the broccoli sprouts you are eating, the Sulforaphane capacity from a single BROC SPROUT 2 capsule could be equal to as much as 10lbs (4.54kg) of fresh whole broccoli sprouts eaten daily.

13) Are there any side-affects from taking BROCSPROUT 2?

You may experience some tummy rumblings and possibly a loose bowel movement the first few times when taking BROCSPROUT 2 capsules? This does not occur in everybody! You may choose to take just one capsule per day for the first week, then gradually increase to two capsules after that.

BROCSPROUT 2 supplements are not associated with BROCCOSPROUTS broccoli products, supplements, or alternate broccoli products, offered by Caudill Seed and Warehouse Company, Inc and or its affiliates Living Sprouts LLC and CS Health, LLC.
